Thread your synthetic rope or steel cable through the block, anchor it to a tree or recovery point, and you've instantly redirected your pull around any obstacle — tree, boulder, ridge line, whatever's in the way. 5/8" steel cable fits perfectly

I have a 20,000 lb rated hydraulic winch with 5/8" aircraft cable. The cable fit, and even with quite a lot of pulling effort the snatch blocks haven't broken yet....

These worked out really well for my needs

Got these because they can handle my 1/2" wire rope or my 3/4" poly rope. Haven't tried the poly rope yet but the 1/2" wire rope worked perfectly. Pulled about a dozen trees down so far � around 24" diameter � with and without pulleys using my tractor. Mostly cottonwoods, root ball and all. Had to set up a 5-to-1 pulley system to get most of them down. Don't recall if they have bushings or bearings since I won't need them often, so it didn't matter to me. They do have grease fittings. Hooked them up with 3/4" D-rings.

These are precision-machined snatch blocks. I was skeptical at first, but they've been outstanding. I've pulled logs weighing 6,000 to 8,000 lbs dragging uphill through dirt and they performed flawlessly. I've used them with tractors pulling stumps, trees, boulders, and machinery. For the price, you can't beat them.
