Thousands of off-roaders trust GearAmerica to get them unstuck when it matters most. Here's what they have to say.
Very nice they're a bit on the heavier side, but I'll update if they fail under load. I doubt that since the build quality feels solid.
Really nice, they are a little on the heavy side but I'll post an update if they fail under load. I doubt it though — quality seems solid.

Very nice — they are on the heavier side. I'll update if they ever fail under load, but they seem like solid quality so I doubt it.

One of the most useful tools we've ever bought! Getting logs out of tight spots becomes almost effortless. Solid and well built.

Not built as well as my other larger shackels.
It's a solid piece and has everything I need. BUT two reasons I'm returning it. First, the shackle can be taken by someone simply unscrewing it, or it could loosen from road vibration it really needs a locking pin. Second, you can't fit a tow hook on it because it's so thick. Kind of defeats the purpose for me.
It's a solid piece of gear and mostly everything I wanted. BUT there are two reasons I'm returning it. First, the shackle can easily be unscrewed by anyone or vibrate loose on rough roads — it really needs a locking pin. Second, it's so thick that you can't fit a tow hook on it, which kind of defeats the purpose for me.
It's a well-built product and has most of what I'm looking for. BUT, two concerns led me to return it. The shackle can be removed by anyone just unscrewing it, or can shake loose from road vibrations — needs a locking pin. Also, it's so thick that a tow hook won't fit, which defeats the purpose for my use case.
It's a solid item and exactly what I was looking for. BUT… Two reasons I'm sending it back. The shackle can be unscrewed and stolen or rattle loose from road vibration. A locking pin is really needed. Second, the thing is so thick you can't hook a tow hook onto it. Kind of defeats the purpose for me.
