Seems very well built and solid. I really like that it has a built-in grease zerk and can be lubricated (given it will be used in dirty, muddy conditions, it would've been a nice touch to have a cap over the zerk). Worked great with my Polaris winch when I tested it out.

Extremely well made, as advertised. The only thing I noticed was that the box appeared to have been opened before � one end of the flap was loose in the packaging.

Haven't used it yet but have no doubt it's robust. I appreciate its smaller footprint compared to other brands � takes up less trunk space. It is pricier than some local Harbor Freight alternatives that sell for 25% of the cost. Not sure the value is 75% better, but it definitely looks nicer.

Used it for the first time today. Snatched a skid steer uphill, out of a mud hole deeper than the entire height of its tires. My 12,000 lb Warn winch couldn't do it alone and my truck was spinning all four tires in 4-low. Ran the snatch block on a shackle and hooked my winch line back to a bumper shackle on my truck and pulled it right out. It took everything my winch had even with the block, so this thing was under maximum load � and when it was over it just folded back open, came off the cable, and went back in my truck like nothing happened. Saved the day. Can't say enough good things. Just make sure you have shackles and a solid, heavy-duty nylon strap and you're set.

First real use was today. Pulled a skid steer out of a deep mud hole going uphill — the hole was deeper than the tires were tall. My 12,000 lb Warn winch couldn't manage solo and my truck was losing traction in 4-low on all four wheels. Hooked the snatch block with a shackle and ran the winch back to my truck's bumper shackle, and it dragged the skid steer right out. The winch was working at its limit the whole time, so this block was taking maximum stress. After it was done, it just folded open, came off the cable, and rode back in the truck as if nothing happened. Couldn't be happier with it. Get good shackles and a solid nylon strap and you're set.
