Failed during use � no warranty response

Owned mine for a couple of years and use them for various tasks. Late last summer I was using one to pull a small tree I'd cut into a roughly 12-foot length when it blew apart. On inspection the block itself looks fine but the C-clip holding it together failed. Reached out to GearAmerica about the supposed lifetime warranty and got total silence. Makes me wonder if they really stand behind their products and whether their customer service is worth anything. Very disappointed so far.

Seems like a well-made pulley, but it wasn't right for what I needed � too large and couldn't be repositioned once set. Didn't work for my use case, but could be a solid option for pulling heavy 1/2" rope.
